Being a dentist and implant and oral surgeon I am continuing a family tradition that my grandfather has laid the foundation for. He worked as a dentist until my parents took over his doctor’s office in 1967.
After I was granted the approbation as a dentist in 1994 I completed my further education in oral surgery in the maxillofacial surgery department of the LMU in Munich. Even then I was particularly interested in implantology, the setting of artificial tooth roots. Nonetheless, I never lost track of common dentistry because:
